FAO ICT UPDATES. The Marine Corps is sending off eight FAOs to ICT this summer: China, Croatia, Russia, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia and Turkey. The eighth FAO is executing a combination 6 month Individual Augment billet in Iraq and then 6 month ICT in Egypt. This winter, a ninth FAO will deploy to Korea for his ICT.

VISIT TO NPS/DLI. Col Hahne and Major Oppenheim traveled to Monterey,
CA to visit with International Affairs Officers in training at the Naval Postgraduate School
and Defense Language Institute to discuss upcoming ICT plans, language
requirements, and current topics in the FAO program, as well as themes in the greater
culture and language arena.
