Points to Make with a Potential Employee
At the end of 2004, I will be retiring from the Army after 21 years of service. I am eager to put my military experience to use in fast-paced and challenging Government or private sector employment. I strongly desire work that is oriented toward my international experience, skills, and interests. I am in excellent physical condition and ready and able to travel and work in the toughest environments. My wife and I have lived in Morocco and Congo and greatly enjoyed both experiences. As a Middle East Foreign Area Officer who has served in North Africa and Sub Saharan Africa, I understand the culture and dynamics of both regions. My understanding of these peoples and my fluency in French allowed me to establish fruitful relationships with my host nation counterparts. I also have extensive experience in international relations through my interaction with the Department of State, the Department of Defense, foreign governments, the United Nations, and a host of non-governmental organizations.
