Foreign Area Officers Association Resumes

FAOA RESUME SERVICE

GO TO ONLINE FAOA RESUMES.

General Information. Foreign regional specialists (called Foreign Area Officers -- FAOs) leaving military service should offer a significant number of very attractive attributes to private industry. These men and women come from a small, hand selected group of volunteers, who after receiving considerable specialized training have thrived in the pressure-cooker environment of the international arena. They are capable leaders, as well as proven managers, and have exhibited the highest quality of performance representing the military and the U.S. Government around the world. Most have been given extensive personnel and budgetary management training. All speak one or more foreign languages fluently, and have served multiple tours overseas. These officers have each built considerable personal networks within the professional business and government circles of the relevant regions. Finally these hand picked, elite officers bring pride, loyalty, initiative, and solid professionalism to any task that they undertake.

As a benefit to the membership of this professional association of military foreign regional specialists, this service is intended to introduce the qualities of the ex-military foreign regional specialists to the private sector, as well as to showcase specific talents of individual members of the association who are currently seeking employment.
